Most Pixelink cameras. Check for support by using PxLGetCameraFeatures. If the feature is not supported, the max pixel size is 10 bits.


Description


This feature allows an application to determine the maximum number of bits the camera can use to represent a pre-formatted (or raw) pixel value.  If this feature returns a value of 12, then the maximum raw (MONO or BAYER) pixel value returned by the camera, would be 212 - 1, or 4095.  The number of bits used in the formatted output depends on the format selected by the Pixel Format feature.
